Who we are

At Rooted 242, we are driven by a deep commitment to support youth and families from hard places as they transition from adolescence to adulthood. Inspired by Acts 2:42, our mission is to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth, resilience, and community connection. We offer a range of services and programs designed to empower and equip individuals with essential job skills and leadership qualities. Our initiatives include community events to strengthen bonds, supervised visit spaces, Thrive support groups, and resource spaces that collaborate with community partners.

Additionally, we provide unique programs like Cakes for Fosters, Community Bucks, and a Community Cabinet to directly support those in need. Through our Family Advocacy and Independent Living Apartments, we strive to stand in the gap, ensuring every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
