Rooted 242 is proud to offer the Thrive Support Groups, a transformative program designed to uplift underprivileged families and provide a safety net that fosters success both now and in the future. Meeting bi-monthly, these groups bring together families at risk of separation or working towards reunification, offering a community of care and support in a nurturing environment.

Each session at our Rooted242 Community Café includes free childcare, a warm, home-cooked meal, and workshops focused on crucial life skills such as budgeting, parenting, and mental health awareness. Our aim is to build a like-minded community where families can grow, learn, and thrive together. While adults engage in their sessions, children enjoy parallel activities in a supportive setting at The Creator’s Studio, just down the block.

Participants also receive a personalized THRIVE gift box during each session, tailored to meet their specific needs—from hygiene products and household items to clothing and diapers—ensuring they have the essentials for a healthy, comfortable home life.
