A Home When You Need One

At Rooted 242, we recognize the challenges that families face when arranging private and comfortable visits with their biological children. To meet this crucial need, we've dedicated a space designed to feel like a cozy living room, complete with toys, games, and soft, inviting furniture. This setting provides a homelike, welcoming environment that supports family-friendly bonding in a manner that is both safe and conducive to positive interactions.

Our supervised visit space is meticulously arranged to ensure privacy while allowing for necessary oversight by supervisors. It’s an ideal setting for a variety of needs including regular family visits, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) visits, and programs like Parents as Teachers.

Currently serving eight different families throughout the week, this room remains accessible even outside of regular café hours, reflecting our commitment to facilitating family connections at times that work for everyone involved. We are thrilled to see the space used so frequently and are eager to support even more families in strengthening their bonds.
